🚨 Running Native Video through Xandr requires there to be both a Video and Native Display creative set up, which are then both combined.
It is vital to follow this set up to avoid any issues

Video Creative

Create a new creative
  1. Go to Advertisers -> Creative Manager
    -> Select your Advertiser
  2. Create a New creative and select Video
Choosing the Video Creative upload

  • Hosted File -> Upload a video file

Max Video File Size: 100MB, Minimum Bit Rate: 2500kbps, Minimum Size: 1280x720px

File Types: x-flv, mp4, webm, x-ms-wmv, ogg, x-msvideo, mpeg, quicktime, 3gpp, 3gpp2, x-m4v (mp4 recommended)


  • Third Part URL

Supported Vast types: VAST_2.0, VAST_3.0

⛔ Adyoulike does not support VPAID tags
Basic Setup
  1. Enter the creative name
  2. Enter the landing URL

⛔ Do not add any Banner Creative

Tracking tags
  1. Enter any relevant tracking pixels or JS tags
  2. Enter any segment pixels for audience tracking

ℹī¸ Tracking tags inserted here will track any video performance metrics for the Native Video creative

Line Item Association
  • Do not associate the video creative directly with a campaign or line item
Creative Quality
  • Select the relevant Audit needed for your creative to run
  • This will vary depending on your inventory targeting method
    • We recommend that this be either a Platform or Self Audit
    • When selecting Self Audit do not leave any sections as “Unknown” as this may have issues serving
ℹī¸ Now that the Video creative is set up, you will now need to create the accompanying Native creative

Native Creative

  1. Go to Advertisers -> Creative Manager
    -> Select your Advertiser

  2. Create a New creative and select Native
Enter in the creative assets, text and disclosure

Basic Setup

  • Creative Name
  • Landing Page URL

Composition

  • Title (60 characters maximum)
  • Body Text (200 characters maximum)
  • Sponsored by (25 characters maximum)
  • Call-to-action
  • Image (1200px x 627px min, 1.91 : 1 Aspect Ratio)
  • Icon (1:1 Aspect Ratio)

Additional Assets

  • Select Additional Assets -> Video
  • Select Assign an asset -> Select a video creative
  • Search for the video creative that you created above
Tracking tags and Audit
  1. Enter any relevant tracking pixels or JS tags
  2. Enter any segment pixels for audience tracking

ℹī¸ Any tracking tags for Native metrics or verification tags such as IAS and MOAT tracking tags should be inserted here

Line Item Association
  • You can associate the creative with a pre-existing line item or campaign here
  • Or you can add the creative later in during the the line item or campaign set up
Creative Quality
  • Select the relevant Audit needed for your creative to run
  • This will vary depending on your inventory targeting method
    • We recommend that this be either a Platform or Self Audit
    • When selecting Self Audit do not leave any sections as “Unknown” as this may have issues serving

OMP Targeting

When creating a new or editing an existing Line Item in the Inventory & Brand Safety Targeting Section select:

  • Open Exchange

Then in the scroll to the Advanced Targeting section select:

  • Exchange
  • Search and Include Adyoulike S.A. (7664)

PMP Targeting

When creating a new or editing an existing Line Item in the Inventory & Brand Safety Targeting section select:

  • Deals

Then in the Deals section select:

  • Specific Deals
  • Search the Deal ID(s) provided by ADYOULIKE
  • Include the relevant deal IDs for you campaign

Targeting Capabilities, Recommendations and Support

  • DSP Viewability targeting cannot be used with Native

  • Applying this will cause the campaign to not run
    • If you wish to try and optimise based on viewability we recommend that this be done through a PMP and our Ops team can set up a high Viewability PMP
    • If you wish to run with viewability segments please reach out to our Programmatic Operations team who can assist with this
  • When running through a PMP we recommend using a flat CPM bid as automated bidding can often have issues with the PMP bid floor
  • ADYOULIKE is a web only SSP. Ensure that when setting up supply targeting ensure that you are including web inventory
  • Demographic targeting is not compatible with ADYOULIKE Native and applying this targeting will cause the campaign to not serve
  • If you wish to apply some sort of demographic targeting this should be done through Audience Segments
  • For Video creatives, we recommend using Videos no longer than 30 seconds. Anything longer than this will sometimes cause slower on page ad load times and lower performance
  • ADYOULIKE is compatible with all other targeting abilities in Xandr, however applying heavy and specific user targeting alongside frequency and brand safety targeting will often reduce the campaigns ability to scale effectively
